最近幾年，義乳植入物導致的分化不良型大細胞淋巴癌（breast Implant-associated anaplastic large cell lymphoma, BIA-ALCL）是美國整形外科醫學會（ASPS）以及其雜誌（Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, PRS）三不五時就會提出來討論的一個主題。The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center的Mark W. Clemens醫師在2016年四月份的PRS特地撰文1討論關於ALCL的知情同意問題。
